Seamless Video Playback from the First Screen
Refined video transitions and playback state across the app's entry flow to ensure consistency from splash through the main experience.
The initial entry flow — from splash to onboarding to the main screen — directly shapes the first impression of the product. Interruptions in video loop continuity or inconsistencies in playback state during these transitions degrade perceived quality regardless of feature completeness. This work audited the full entry sequence to ensure video transitions remain continuous and loop timing stays accurate across screen changes.
The primary focus was the transition flow itself. The progression through splash, onboarding, library, and profile screens was restructured to operate as a unified entry sequence rather than a series of independent states. On the playback side, video, audio, and current playback status were aligned so that all three reflect consistent values before and after any screen navigation.
Data synchronization and cache behavior were also tightened to ensure content surfaces consistently across sessions. This was not a foundational architectural change. The goal was to raise the baseline reliability of playback during first-run, so new users reach the core experience without unnecessary interruption.
