Redefining Screens as Coherent Flows
Fragmented screen structures were realigned into a consistent, unified experience flow.
A product surface that has all the necessary functional elements but lacks consistency across screens undermines overall experience quality. This update unified the entry flow from splash to onboarding, card layout standards, and the presentation logic across recommendation and discovery areas — aligning previously independent screen designs under a single coherent standard.
Card color, spacing, and text placement were consolidated into a unified visual system, ensuring consistent presentation across all tabs. An inconsistency where moment and inst content applied different display rules when shown side by side was resolved as part of this effort.
On the playback side, lock screen and Now Playing remote controls were synchronized with actual playback state. The transition between video segments, loop behavior, and the flow from sleep routines into alarm were tightened into a continuous, uninterrupted experience. The focus of this work was improving consistency and reliability across existing surfaces rather than adding new functionality.
