Context-Specific Visual Treatment Across Screens

2025.11.23Technical Log#product-ui#content#playback

Typography, color, layout, and playback control consistency were adjusted to match the functional context of each screen.

Different screens within the app serve distinct functional contexts and require corresponding visual treatment. A wake-time selection screen demands high readability, while a pre-sleep screen calls for reduced visual intensity. Sections that previously shared identical type sizes and colors were reviewed and updated to reflect the appropriate typographic and color decisions for each context.

On the layout side, card and detail view arrangements were made responsive to screen width, and recommendation and discovery content were aligned to a consistent display standard. In the pre-sleep program selection flow, image handling and instructional copy were refined to reduce cognitive load during selection.

In the playback layer, remote control consistency between the lock screen and Now Playing was established, and continuous playback and loop segment handling were improved. Maintaining parity between the in-app playback state and externally visible controls is a baseline requirement for a reliable playback experience. Time unit localization across multiple languages was also addressed under the same quality standard.
