From Feature List to Coherent Flow
Unified content display standards and navigation entry points across exploration, mode, and playback screens to deliver a consistent user experience.
Whether a screen reads as a collection of features or as a coherent flow is a direct indicator of product quality. When the same content appears under different presentation rules across tabs and modes, users must spend cognitive effort re-orienting rather than engaging with the content itself. This work focused on closing that gap.
The primary scope covered exploration and mode screens. Content display criteria and card layout were unified across the moment, inst, recommendation, and exploration sections. Each entry point was restructured to clearly communicate its context state. In the reels playback transition flow, audio state, video mount state, and current track information were updated to remain consistently synchronized. Desynchronization between playback state and UI state during screen transitions breaks the continuity of the experience.
Effect and reverb processing stages, as well as data load and cache restore paths, were reviewed under the same criteria. The work proceeded from the premise that consistency across screen transitions determines overall experience quality more than the completeness of any individual screen.
