Unified Control for Dual-Layer Audio Balance

2025.12.11Technical Log#product-ui#playback#content

Refined lock screen controls and track loading behavior, and introduced a single control for adjusting the mix between two audio layers.

When audio playback state, loaded track metadata, and lock screen remote controls reference inconsistent states, users encounter the same playback moment twice — a discrepancy that does not surface in feature specifications but directly degrades playback reliability. This update aligns the playback entry and exit paths with lock screen remote control so that all surfaces reference a single, consistent playback state.

The most direct change is how the two audio layers are mixed. The ambient background of a moment and the instrumental track playing over it have operated as independent streams. With this update, both layers can be adjusted simultaneously through a single control. Track loading timing and auto-advance behavior were also refined to ensure uninterrupted playback continuity.

In the browse and recommendation screens, album name display and item ordering have been standardized so that the same content appears consistently regardless of which screen it is viewed from.
