Screens as Scenes, Not Feature Checklists

2026.03.20Technical Log#product-ui#playback#content

Mini player behavior, video transitions, and diary recording flow were realigned to a consistent visual and interaction language across the app.

As the screen count grew, each area accumulated its own interaction rhythm. The mini player, reels playback, and diary input operated independently, producing subtle inconsistencies when navigating between them. All features were functional, but the overall flow had not been unified into a single coherent experience.

This update focused on improving interaction consistency across the interface. Mini player animation and state were synchronized with the main screen. Video transition and loop behavior were standardized. Content visibility criteria were aligned between browse and playback contexts, eliminating discrepancies users could encounter when moving between the two. Spatial and reverb processing was integrated directly into the active playback chain, and localized strings were audited for consistency across languages.

In the diary, the emotion-logging flow was refined to complete without interruption from entry to save.

The priority was consistency and cohesion across existing features rather than the addition of new ones.
