Consistent Playback State Across Lock Screen and Mini Player
Aligned the mini player and lock screen controls to reflect a single playback state, improving consistency across all playback surfaces.
Shortly after launch, discrepancies were identified between the displayed playback state and actual audio output when users switched to the background or controlled playback from the lock screen. When the mini player, lock screen remote controls, and audio output fail to reflect the same state, the reliability of the playback experience is directly compromised.
This update aligns the lock screen and notification remote controls, the mini player, and in-reels playback to share a single source of playback state. Timing conflicts between track loading and audio session open/close sequences were resolved, and the application of audio effects such as reverb was synchronized with playback state transitions.
The onboarding screens and initial guidance flow were also revised to provide a consistent path to playback start.
