Post-Launch Polish: Removing Rough Edges Across the Interface

2026.05.01Technical Log#product-ui#content#sound-engine

Addressed visual inconsistencies across screens and unified content display standards in the period immediately following launch.

The period immediately following launch is not primarily about adding new capabilities — it is about eliminating the small inconsistencies that users encounter at every step. Work in this phase was concentrated on surface quality: refining the interface toward scene- and flow-driven presentation rather than feature enumeration.

Content display standards were also unified. When moment and inst, recommendations and discovery, render under different visual rules, users cannot build a consistent mental model within a single product. Display logic was aligned to a single standard — what to show, where to show it, and how. Consistent listings reduce the cognitive cost of selection.

The audio engine's spatial processing, reverb handling, and effects chain were adjusted to more accurately reflect the actual signal path. The diary recording flow and the internal content review tooling were also tidied at their boundaries. The focus throughout was not structural addition, but the removal of inconsistencies from an already-running experience.
