Smoothing Out the Rough Edges in First Impressions
Removed inconsistencies in the screens new users encounter first and streamlined the onboarding flow.
After launch, residual logic from the previous architecture remained in the splash and onboarding sequence. On the time-setting screen, an unnecessary loading indicator appeared before the selection UI, causing a visible delay.
This update focused on the screens new users encounter most immediately and most frequently. Redundant operations during the entry flow were removed to simplify progression, and the time-setting screen was updated to present the selection UI without delay. Display logic for the mini player, recommendations, and discovery was aligned to a single standard, improving visual consistency across screens.
Inconsistencies in first-run experience do not surface in feature specifications, but they directly shape users' perception of the product overall. Polishing the entry flow is a quality priority at this stage of development.
