Addressed desync between reel transitions, video loops, and Now Playing state, and resolved flow breakpoints in the sleep routine and diary experiences.
Reel transitions exhibited a delayed video attach and occasional overlap with the prior playback state. These inconsistencies do not surface in feature specifications but directly degrade the reliability of the playback experience.
The scope of this update was to align video transitions, loops, and Now Playing state into a single coherent flow. Content exposure logic for moments and insts was unified across recommendation and discovery surfaces. Breakpoints in the sleep routine flow — from content selection through alarm — and in the diary flow were also resolved.
The focus was consistency of existing interactions rather than the addition of new features. Reliable behavior across scroll, pause, and re-navigation actions is foundational to overall product quality.
